About the Book

The Philanthropic Mind analyzes the work, forethought, strategic planning, and experimentation that many philanthropists employ. It delves into challenges and pleasures of  succession, managing communal and personal expectations, never-ending requests, wanted and unwanted publicity, and reveals fascinating ideas for the professionals in the sector to take to heart.

The Philanthropic Mind tells the story of the philanthropist as a human, rather than a cheque-book. It expresses their innermost desires of the philanthropic experience, and suggests meaningful ways that professionals can enhance the entire philanthropic experience by being cognizant of those needs.

We are confident that The Philanthropic Mind will be a tremendous resources for those that work in, or interact with, the non-profit sector (i.e. non-profit executives, institutional advancement professionals, board members, etc.), along with other philanthropists, estate planners, any anyone else interested in this space.
